Start the year with calm, focus, and plenty of knitting joy. Three Sundays in a row – right after the holiday rush – we invite you, or someone you'd like to treat, to an exclusive knitting course at Samværk with knitwear designer Kirsten Ascanius.
During the course, you'll dive into Kirsten's latest design, the Jackie Pullover, which will be tailored entirely to you. The pattern can be varied in both difficulty and expression, so you can create exactly the design you dream of.
You can choose between:
• I-cord or ribbed edges
• Short, long, or three-quarter sleeves
• Straight or beautifully rounded finishes
• Different yarn qualities and thicknesses
With Kirsten's skilled and attentive guidance, you'll have the opportunity to put your own stamp on every detail – regardless of your level.
The course can be taught in both Danish and English – Kirsten started her knitwear design career in the USA and teaches confidently and clearly in both languages.
To make the experience extra cozy, we provide warm drinks, fresh fruit, and pastries, so you can relax and let your creativity flow in the most delightful surroundings.

About Kirsten:
Kirsten Ascanius is a trained pattern designer – formerly known as a pattern maker – and has over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, where she has worked with design and construction at companies including Munthe plus Simonsen, Punk Royal, and Whiite.
In 2022, she moved with her family to Minnesota, USA, and it was here that her journey as a knitwear designer began. This marked the start of a passion where her strong eye for fit, proportions, and details truly came into play.
Kirsten's background in fashion design makes her particularly skilled at creating patterns that fit well on the body – regardless of size and style. She works with a confident understanding of form, balance, and the small adjustments that make a knitted project feel just right.
