Snældan yarn is authentic, traditional and beautiful Faroese wool that is wonderfully warm. Available in both fantastic natural shades and dyed in the deepest and clearest colors. With the many different shades and colors, there is ample opportunity to combine the Faroese wool in countless ways and create the most beautiful knitting projects and patterns.

Recommended needles: 2-3 mm
Knitting tension: 10 x 10 cm = 24 sts
Suitable for: Shawls, airy sweaters and woolen underwear

2-ply:
Weight/Length: 50 g = approx. 180 m
Recommended needles: 3-4 mm
Knitting tension: 10 x 10 cm = 22 sts

3-ply:
Weight/Length: 50 g = approx. 130 m
Recommended needles: 4.5 mm
Knitting tension: 10 x 10 cm = 19 sts

5-ply:
Weight/Length: 100 g = approx. 150 m
Recommended needles: 7-8 mm
Knitting tension: 10 x 10 cm = 16 sts
Suitable for: Thick sweaters such as Icelandic sweaters
